The
One and Only Guide To Making Dioramas
by Jurassic Joe
Hello, this is
Jurassic Joe. I am here to write you a guide in making dioramas. Okay, let’s
get started! The first thing you have to do is make sure you have a camera!
I usually just pick out
some toys and then think of one, but do what you want. After you pick your toys
go outside and look for a good location to shoot your picture. Inside pictures
always look a bit corny, because you can either see inside things or the lightings
bad. Outside dioramas are best! So get dirty and bring those toys, camera and
idea outside! Set them up in your pose.
It is always good to play
around with it for a bit, to see what pose is the best. After you have your
pose of the toys (not you!!!) you have to find your camera angle. Try to make
the camera angles interesting. An interesting camera angle is trying to make
the camera level equal to the figures height. It makes it look more realistic!
Once you are ready, take your picture! Try to keep the camera still, or you’ll
have a blurry picture.
Next thing you do is upload
it, or develop it. Scan it if you developed it, and save it if you uploaded
it! Yes…yes…yes! There you have it! Your picture! That is the end
of the epic diorama making guide of me! You can use these tips I keep in mind
when taking my own pictures!
- Give it a good name!
- Lighting is the key to
the mood you want!
- Use a mini-tripod if
you have to!
- Don’t use a flash
unless you have to!
- Don’t use too many
toys!
- Make sure if you have
leafs or vegetation, it’s the right size compared to the figure!
- Take a couple of shots,
and then you can pick out which ones the best!
- Make sure there are no
houses if you’re setting your diorama in Isla Sorna!
- Get dirty! Outside pictures
rock!
